PAMENO.COM ANNOUNCES “PREPAREFORIT!” APPLICATION

LOS ANGELES, CA, Dec 16, 2009 – Disaster preparedness and information expert Pameno.com has announced a new premium online suite of tools called “PrepareForIt!,” designed to create home inventories, online document archives, protect users from identity theft, and allow users to create a personal broadcast to communicate with loved one in a disaster.

“Pameno.com has always been about helping people and empowering individuals and families to prepare for, survive and rebound from any disaster,” said CEO Lev Stark.  “These tools are a natural extension of that."

Stark said that the suite retails for $4.95 a month, but will be available for a free trial. He made it clear that users would NOT need a credit card to try the service.

“I’ve always hated free trails that felt like a veiled attempt to steal your email so you can spammed for eternity,” he said. “I want to assure people that we won’t be doing that. We are offering PrepareForIt! for 45 days free, and we invite members of the press, the Internet community at large to take it for a ride, and judge it for themselves.

Vice-president Zach Helke said he’s often asked if PrepareForIt! is similar to other products in the marketplace, such as online backup systems. He explained that other business models might overlap some of the functionality of the PrepareForIt! suite, but didn’t offer the complete range of protection, and certainly not for the same price point.

“I strongly believe PrepareForIt! occupies a unique space in the market,” said Helke. “Other companies are offering products that resemble parts of those that are in the PrepareForIt! suite, but none of these are comparable to the suite in it’s entirety. I think PrepareForIt! is useful to anyone that’s concerned with wanting to add a layer of protection to their homes, their property and their lives beyond the limits of normal insurance.”
